1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits (SDKs) in our app. References in this policy to “cookies” cover all of these. First-party cookies are set by us directly when you visit our site. Third-party cookies are set by other organisations whose services we use, such as analytics or advertising providers. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

2. How you can manage cookies

When you first visit our site you can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose which categories to allow. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of our website. You can also manage cookies through your browser or device settings (see section 8). Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site needs them to work. Without them, you wouldn’t be able to log in, book, or complete a payment. Following changes to PECR introduced by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, certain categories of cookies no longer require your prior consent, although we will still tell you about them and you can object. We have flagged the consent position in each category below.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

Consent: not required. These cookies are essential for the site and app to work — for browsing, logging in, booking and remembering your cookie preferences. Without them parts of the site won’t function. Cookie / technology

4. Statistical and functional cookies

Consent: not required under PECR (as amended), with a right to object.

We use these cookies to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it, fix bugs and design new features. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, certain low-risk statistical and appearance/functionality cookies are exempt from the consent requirement, provided we tell you about them and give you a simple way to object. You can object using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

5. Marketing and advertising cookies

Consent: required.

We and our advertising partners use these cookies to show you offers that are more relevant, both on our site and on other sites and apps. They record your visit, the pages you view and the links you follow. We only set these with your consent.

6. Social media cookies

Consent: required.

These cookies let social networks recognise you when you visit our site — for example so you can sign in with a social account, share content, or see ads about us in your social feed.

When we run matched audiences, only a hashed (non-readable) version of your email is shared with the platform, and the match happens within the platform’s own systems. If your email doesn’t match an account, the platform deletes it. You can opt out via your account settings on each platform.

7. Opting out of specific advertising partners

You can opt out of personalised advertising from individual partners using the links below. Opting out doesn’t stop ads, but the ads you see will be less tailored to you.

9. Changes to this policy
